My Story
My journey started behind a chair in a small Sydney barber shop. Every haircut taught me something new — about technique, about people, about building trust with a client in 45 minutes.
After five years of honing the craft I realised the hardest thing for aspiring barbers wasn't passion — it was access to quality education. Most courses were expensive, theory-heavy, and disconnected from real shop life.
Harry.M Academy was born from that gap. Every class I run is hands-on, practical and built around the skills that actually get you hired — and keep clients coming back.
2018
Started Barbering
Began mastering the craft in Sydney barber shops, building foundational skills in fades, cuts and beard work.
2020
Opened Teaching Practice
Recognised a gap in quality barbering education and began taking on private students one-on-one.
2022
Launched Harry.M Academy
Formalised the curriculum into structured courses, combining hands-on practice with business skills.
